Sugamama’s Homemade Brittle is a family-owned, seasonal brittle maker in Akron, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect through https://sugamamabrittle.shop (the “Site”) and when you contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact form and messages. If you use our contact form, we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message. If you email or call us, we receive what you share with us.
- Technical and security data. Like most websites, our hosting and security tools automatically record things such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you visit. This helps us keep the Site working and block spam and attacks.
- Cookies. The Site uses cookies needed for it to function, for security, and for page-loading speed. We do not use cookies to show you advertising.
- Orders (when online ordering is open). If you place an order, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and order details so we can fill and ship it. Payments are handled by secure third-party payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal, which collect your payment details directly. We do not see or store your full card number.
We also sell our brittle in person at holiday shows.

We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Site, such as website hosting, security, spam-filtering, and email services; with payment providers and shipping carriers to complete and deliver orders; and with others when the law requires it.
